At Help at Home Senior Care, we believe supporting older adults goes beyond providing quality in-home care. It also means working alongside other trusted professionals to ensure seniors and families have access to the resources they need to age safely and confidently.
On Wednesday, February 25, Help at Home partnered with several local providers from the Seniors Resource Group to host a Senior Health and Resource Fair at Atria El Camino Gardens. The event focused on health, wellness, and education for seniors, family members, and caregivers in our community.
Attendees had the opportunity to connect with professionals from a wide range of senior-focused industries, including in-home care, nursing care in the home, hospice care, Medicare insurance specialists, real estate professionals, reverse mortgage experts, and senior placement services. These providers shared educational materials and answered questions to help seniors and families better understand the services available to support aging at home.
One of the highlights of the event was free blood pressure screenings, giving seniors an easy opportunity to check an important indicator of heart health while learning more about local wellness resources.
Events like this highlight the power of community collaboration. When professionals across senior services work together, families gain clearer guidance and better access to the support they need—whether that includes home care, caregiving assistance, healthcare services, housing options, or financial planning for aging.
Help at Home Senior Care was proud to help coordinate and sponsor this community health event, bringing together organizations that share a common mission: supporting the independence, health, and dignity of older adults.
If you or a loved one would like to learn more about senior home care, elder care, or in-home caregiving services, our team is always available to help guide families toward the resources and support that make aging at home possible.
